Join us for a discussion drawing on Sussex Baby Lab science which investigates how infants actually see and attend to visual experiences.

Using eye-tracking and head-cam footage of babies engaging with art, museum spaces and everyday environments, this interactive session invites creative professionals to think about visual design from the baby’s perspective.

Through guided observation, discussion and practical design reflection, participants will uncover how visual perception develops in early life and how this knowledge can inform drama for very young audiences.

This workshop will be led by Professor Anna Franklin, Professor of Visual Perception and Cognition at Sussex Baby Lab.

This panel discussion is part of our Early Years - Conversations and Exchanges series during Playground Festival. Find out more about the series.
